Greetings..
I know I have complained about bathing suit season before, but when you are dead in the middle of the most OC GORGEOUS weather, you have to buck up and go to the pool. I bought two new fabulous suits a month ago and of course I try them both on and dislike them now. How can they fit AND look cute only one month ago and now seem boring and too small? Maybe it was the Famous Star with Cheese from Friday night (I lead such an exciting life don’t I?)? I sigh and pull one of them on, and cover it with my usual shorts and tank. At least THEY fit. It takes us 30 minutes to get packed, ready for the pool, lubed up with SPF and buckled in. Once on our way I realize that we forgot “snacks” (my daughter is ADDICTED to what she calls “snack” – the singular version of her favorite noun for her favorite pastime- eating). I decide to just hope that she is having FAR too much fun to think about “snack” and continue our 1 minute drive to the community pool.
