Our hope is that you pat our Hot Mamma’s on the back for being able to juggle it all (with a smile on their face), and when possible- support their businesses. In every HM Spotlight you will be introduced to our HM of the Month, their kiddo and their business. If you choose to contact the HM (and we hope you do), please don’t forget to tell ‘em where you heard about their hot-ness.

Description of company you own or work for: My PR firm specializes in the children’s market including maternity, babies, toddlers, kids and lifestyle products and services. How does your business help other moms and/or kids? My business helps other business spread the word about their new and unique product or service.
How do you balance work and kids? That is a constant struggle as most any working mother will tell you. For me it is more about the whole balance of everything, not just the work and kids. I try to schedule my day so that I am doing a little of everything. I make it a priority to exercise at least a few times a week (love pilates), have time with my kids in the early mornings, evenings and weekends, alone time with my husband at night and at least one date night a week, see my friends as much as possible by scheduling a "girls" lunch a couple times a month and I work every other moment, except when I am cooking my healthy organic dinners every night and getting my 8 hours of sleep. It is very hard to do it all and I fail most of the time! I am striving for balance and perfection but I doubt I will ever get there.
What is your favorite activity with your kiddo? I would have to say going to a pool or the beach (when all stars align and there is not a major meltdown or too much stuff to carry – which rarely happens), cuddling in bed in the morning (that is when everyone is in the best mood), Friday night dance parties (my husband and I make a cocktail and put on dance music and we all look like fools…except for the kids who look too darn cute)
What is one piece of advice that you could share with other mom’s? I am realizing that everyone is in the same boat. We always think other moms are having more fun, their kids are better behaved, their marriages are more romantic, their households are tidier and the truth is, everyone is struggling the same trying to find that harmonious life, and it just isn’t realistic most of the time. My advice would be to hang on to the little nuggets..when the stars do align and you have that romantic date or when your children are being little angels, and remember it and cherish it because it probably won’t come back again for a long time…and that is OK!! Embrace the chaos and the messiness of life. What is your favorite online site for kids or moms?
Here are my favorite sites:
OC Mamma of course
Hot Moms Club
The Cradle
People.com
What is one of your favorite books about parenting? I just read," I Would Trade My Husband for a Housekeeper" and it was a very funny and honest read about how most women and men feel today about parenting and marriage. It also offers some sound advice.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure? Drinking wine with girlfriends (usually during our afternoon play dates), watching my recorded General Hospital’s (haven’t missed an episode in 36 years, and I am 39 – very sad but true)
If you won the lotto today, what would be the first thing you would spend money on? (assuming you have to buy yourself something.. I know, it is a stretch) I would take a big group of family and friends out to an amazing dinner and splurge on really expensive wine. I might have to go shopping beforehand and by myself something cute to wear.
