Gem's Friends
I don’t know a kiddo who doesn’t like stuffed animals- do you? I have to admit that I think they are pretty cute most of the time too… Gem’s Friends are stuffed animals who each have a story- they all have something that they have to overcome. Sidney, the Shark, likes to make new friends but because everyone is afraid of him it is very hard- so he is working on trying to prove that he really is a nice shark. Sebastian the Snail is shy so he is working on coming out of his shell by being more outgoing. Just like people- these fun little animals aren’t perfect! They are all working on themselves to become better. We LOVE Gem’s Friends because they not only teach diversity but they make being different ok- and they open up the conversation for learning how to better ourselves. Not to mention they are pretty darn cute!
